Question Sporthorse Vet in Kansas City

I'm living in Minnesota. I found a young horse on the East side of Kansas City (actually in MO). I would like to get this horse vetted by a reputable sporthorse vet...flexions, x-rays, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good vet that would be willing to do a farm-call pre-purchase exam?

    Thanks,
    Katie.

Yes. Wilhite and Frees. Either Chris Wilhite or Karl Frees will do an excellent job. Wilhiteandfrees.com.

Definitely Dr. Frees. He is known to be an excellent "leg guy" and does a very thorough pre-purchase. If he is not available or if you need someone else, Drs. Eric Carlson and Kelly Gratny Carlson just moved to the area from Lexington. They worked for Rood & Riddle and I've heard great things about them.
A horse may be coaxed to drink, but a pencil must be lead.

Dr. Frees was a surgery resident when I was in vet school at Kansas State. He is a super nice guy and very competent vet.
