Oh, well, clearly you're not thoroughly indoctrinated to COTH yet, because finger pointing and drawing conclusions are the cornerstones of this great online community. (Tidy Rabbit)

I don't know but it seems to be a popular pose if you do a search for sidesaddle rear there are at least two others who have been photographed in the same position.

Not saying it is at all safe or smart but it has been done

My money is on Photoshop. Without fake bangs you'd be able to see that she didn't have a brain.

They don't show that the next photo in the series is her getting hung up in the stirrup and drug... (I kid, but really!)

What an exceptionally foolish place to put yourself in!

Thats an old circus pose. I used to see the amazonnes (woman riders) practise it at Lucien Gruss' barn on a regular basis. Lucien Gruss from the family Gruss is a very famous circus trainer who specialises in horses and has been in the circus for decades. He also teaches classical dressage.

You really need abdominal control for that mouvement !!!

Here is a link for Mélie Philippot who does it currently. Just take the ladder down slightly to see the picture

although she looks much more professional at it.
