I remember that thread and have often wondered what happened to that little horse. As I recall, "she" was called Mosey and was very cute. The thread was long but Mosey's fate was not resolved by the end of it.
I heard a neigh. Oh, such a brisk and melodious neigh as that was! My very heart leaped with delight at the sound. --Nathaniel Hawthorne

At least Tony is not a philly, gliding, or a filly colt. That would be confusing.

That's terrific! I thought about getting Mosey, but thought it would be too confusing for Cloudy. He ended up getting 2 yrs ago a little ATA mare.

I hope Mosey has a happy home for the rest of her life. She was very good looking.

This is simply an auto-correct issue...this mare is obviously a registered "Odinburg"....an ancient Nordic breed of the warmblood type. Horse of the gods. Legend has it that thunder is simply the sound of the fallen Odinburg war horses galloping thru Valhalla.

I'm so glad we are all blessed with the rare opportunities provided by craigslist.

Honestly not that horrifying (unless you consider the spelling errors). They don't seem in terrible shape and she has hay for them. It seems to me that she needs to sell them, that's all..

Yes, I smell like a horse. No, I don't consider that to be a problem.

    Default And that's not all...

This reminds me of a western paperback novel where the hero, who had infiltrated the outlaws' hideout but needed to get back to civilization, asked the wise old Indian chief to find him a really fast horse. The horse was a beauty, a 12-hand Standardbred female gelding. Seriously, that's what the book said. And it was a beautiful, fast, RIDING horse.

If you WILL read paperback novels.. Dwarf Standardbreds of confusing gender?

I've always enjoyed the "spaghetti westerns" on TV with the cowboys riding the western range on their incongruous Andalusian/PRE cowponies.

Two horses halfway in a garage with a car, what could go wrong?

I bought my new mare a flowery custom pad so she wouldn't be confused as a gelding. Soooo, no, I get it.

Free-roaming?! Yikes, what does that mean?

I once looked at an ad for a sale horse that showed it loose in someone's backyard where there was all a manner of crap (trampoline, wading pool, swingset, etc.) and there were photos of it standing on the enclosed porch and stepping into the house.
