Default Horse Boarding in Montgomery County Maryland

I am looking for a dressage/eventer friendly boarding farm within reasonable distance from Germantown. Preferably stall board, with an indoor and outdoor arena. Good care is a must and most important. Also facility must welcome outside trainers as my trainer does not have her own facility.

Any ideas? I have left messages at several places, but no return calls

Southwind in Damascus. Owned by an eventer and was very friendly when I was there with my dressage horses - there were other dressage riders there when I was. http://southwindfarminc.com/

I second Southwind. If you're willing to go outside of MoCo, I'd also highly recommend GoodNess Ridge and By Chance Farms, as well. Care at both places is top notch and the people are awesome. You can bring your own trainer to all 3 of these barns, too, IIRC.

I'm at Southwind, and they take great care of the horses. 2 outdoors and an indoor, trails, 2 wash stalls, etc. no ring fee for outside trainers. Nice people & happy horses

There is an extensive list at http://equiery.com/ridingBoardingStables.php#Mont

Lots of LONG term happy boarders doing eventing and dressage at basculefarm.com and great facilities; don't know about outside trainers, however

Wyndam Oaks is gorgeous, but dressage only

I'm at Southwind as well, and definitely recommend it. Great people, great care, lots of pasture turnout in small groups, good riding out, an indoor and two outdoors. We have quite a few outside trainers that come in, both dressage and eventing. There's also a big trailer parking area.
