    Deeper bedding and medicate with some like silver sulfadiazine cream.

    Thanks mareslave! That does look perfect and less inviting of the criticism "You know those bell boots are supposed to go the other way, duh!" And I love both your screen name and "designer" horses description. Puts a positive spin on yet another frustrating aspect of horse ownership. I guess I have a few who are vying for a spot on Project Runway
