    Gingerly. I'm afraid of chickens

But seriously, over easy. I eat the white and then the whole yolk in one bite like my grandfather did. Or deviled, or hard-boiled, or scrambled. Eggs are great. Chickens are mean, so I like to eat them too!

Sunny side up or deviled would have been my answer pre-pregnancy. My current aversion to eggs is so strong, I can't imagine ever eating one again. The thought alone is nauseating. And I have laying hens! Been giving away a lot of eggs... I'll happily accept the warm, chocolate chip cooking though.

I like them baked when doing b'fest for a group.

Line a muffin tin with bacon, a round cut of bread in the bottom, add egg. Top with S & P, cheddar cheese, herbs. Bake at 350 for 10 mins for runny yolks 12-15 mins for a harder set yolk. Yum.

Poached or soft boiled or over easy. Need the yolk to run.

For excellent soft scrambled eggs, try cooking them in the top of a double boiler with a bit of cream and tarragon.

1 egg, 2 egg whites, two handfuls of spinach and a vegetarian sausage patty, all scrambled together and doused in hot sauce. Delicious. That's breakfast, 5 days a week.

Mmmm I love eggs! Poached, fried in bacon fat or butter over easy, scrambled with some good cheese... haven't had a soft boiled egg (with toast soldiers!) in ages, I just got some excellent bread from the bakery so I'm going to have to remedy that craving shortly

Scrambled with cheese or eggs Benedict! Maybe even lobster eggs Benedict. Yep yep yep.
Or if fried, over medium.... With ketchup!!! That's me and my dad, mom and brother think it's gross

Who would have thought it - a simple question and three pages of answers.

Lex - you asking in case you get lucky some time?

I eat eggs - tho I wonder how I can - at school in Africa we would sometimes get a boiled egg and crack it open and inside was an almost formed chick -
the Africans would collect them and bring them in to sell at the school....burp.

I'm surprised too. I just figured Lex was bored. Well, he made me want eggs for breakfast this morning. I had them fried, over medium.

    egg in the hole:
take a slice of (good) bread, carefully cut a hole in the middle.
    toast one side to taste.
Flip, add egg in the hole. Put (clear) lid on, cook til done (sunny side up, yolk runny). season to taste. Enjoy.

If the white is cooked thoroughly, there isn't an egg I don't like. My sister cooks the best fried eggs with the white completely cooked and the yolk runny. I generally break the yolk in my attempt. My dad used to make scrambled eggs with cream cheese in a double boiler, all perfectly blended together so no lumps of cream cheese but a wonderful cheesy flavor throughout. That was awesome. I also love deviled eggs. I can wipe out a plate of them!

My best friend hates eggs. When we are traveling together and eat out, we try to get to the restaurant at the very moment they cut over to lunch. Often we can each get what we want!

In a homemade Egg McMuffin! Cook egg over hard (or break yolk while frying), add a slice of sharp American cheese and some turkey bacon, all on an English muffin. A heck of a lot healthier for you than the grease/butter crazy McDonald's version.

I also looove over easy eggs with some toast to soak up the yolk, or scrambled eggs with chopped up herbs, cheese or kielbasa mixed in.

Over easy. Or scrambled. Or pickled. Or deviled (must be mayo, no miracle whip and never any relish). Or in egg-drop soup. Or hard boiled. I'll eat eggs just about any way.

But they must be from the supermarket. I've tried farm eggs, love the color and freshness, but just way too egg-y for my tastes.

I love eggs. Love them! Right now here is the top three on my hit list:

    1) Make a quiche with Dubliner cheese and bacon
    2) 3 eggs scrambled with 2 slices of american cheese melted in
    3) soft boiled in a cup with torn up buttered toast and salt

Oh, and hard boiled as a snack.

    OK, that was 4
