Just had my 6 y.o. TK mare scoped at my vet's facility because of nosebleeds from the left nostril. He found a granuloma, probably fungal in nature, on the left side. It was biopsied and will have results early next week. He didn't feel it would be malignant, but want to cover all the bases. It will also give other information so a decision can be made about the best way to deal with the granuloma, either medically or with a laser or ??? Has anyone else had this issue? I'm not riding her, even though he said I probably could. Not worth it. I will have to miss an upcoming clinic I was really looking forward to doing, but we don't have an "agenda" about what has to be accomplished or when, so I'm fine with that. My first encounter with this.
TIA
