    Default Doxycyline substitutes in heartworm and lyme disease treatment

    What are vets using to replace the outrageously expensive and nearly unobtainable except from compounders doxy that is so important to use during heartworm and lyme treatment?

    We've been using minocycline - though I understand it can be hard to find too.

    Minoycycline is one option. Compounded doxycycline has been the best choice price wise at my office so far
