Default CL ad: oh my....Another spell check fail

    Wanted free old English tack
Hi, I'm looking for any kind of English tack. Saddles, bridles, pads, births. Looks don't matter. Just as London it's serviceable. Minor repaired ok. Also looking a horse trailer that's free.

What-- You didn't know the Constitution guarantees everyone who wants a horse and all the trimmings as their "right"? :-/

I didn't even get into the jaw dropping audacity of the post which you noted. My eyes were still bleeding from the spelling fail. The whole thing is just every kind of wrong!

The poster would have better luck if she took the time to insert a sob story or some other reason why people should feel compelled to give her their good horse things for free rather than selling them for money. No sob story? No problem, it's craigslist, so just make one up. Obviously a newb….

Why not ask for a free truck, house, barn, and a fully funded 401k?

There was a similar thread earlier this month:

    http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/sh...-entertainment

Makes you wonder if someone is just enterprising or if it is the beginning of some new kind of scam? OP, why not post the link to that ad? From where did it originate?

Both ads are from Raleigh. Bet it's the same person. Guess nobody is falling over themselves to hand her a free trailer.

I feel like emailing her to offer her a free brand new Sundowner...if only she'll pay shipping from Nigeria.

(yeah I know that's mean. I'd never do that )

The spelling problems are obviously an auto-correct gone wrong. With more and more people doing everything from their phones, that will only increase. I always read over things before I post them, but it's really easy to hit the wrong letters on those little virtual keyboards and I've caught some really funny ones in my own stuff before. Odd how the people wanting free handouts can always afford their smartphone though.

Where shall I send all my personal info, or should I just post here?

Yeah, posting here is best, that way you can just print it instead of having to copy it all down.

Oh, sorry, do you HAVE a printer, or should I send that too? Along with an office building. Well dang, that means you would have to travel to the office, so what car(s) would you like to have? One of each? Oh no that means you would need a larger garage to house all my/your cars.

Yes you should print my info, that way you can get my signature better.

Just kidding. But if you are really in need . . . or is that want? . . . .!! Both are 4 letter words. But the word fat is not. Where is the decency to spelling?? Oh here we go, phat. There, it is now a 4 letter word.

If I ever breed again, and should wind up with a stillborn foal, I'll contact them as to where they want it sent. If not, I'll ask if the placenta will suffice. They'll have to pay shipping though!

Saw one on fb the other day paraphrasing here

Have everything except saddle, bridle and horse. Want to run my first barrel pattern at the rodeo. Do you have a horse I can use or borrow so I can run my first patter? Doesn't need to know the pattern or be trained.

    Lol what???
