    Default Alternatives to justbridles.com?

They are still down, and no ETA for them being back up. Anyone know of any alternative sites where you can build a bridle?

I wish I had an answer for you!!! I have also been checking and checking back on their site and blog because I wanted a wide noseband only. I finally went ahead and purchased an entire bridle from another saddlery to try for size and looks. In the meantime, I am starting on my handmade noseband to match the show bridle that I already have here because I don't know of any other option.

Why did you make me aware of this website?! Now I have to join you in waiting until they come back online. What a tease

I was told by the Justbridles people and Bridleplates that they are no longer able to buy Aramas "pieces" any more from the company. No idea about other brands though but that made me very sad!

Beval will swap out bridle parts on any of their bridles, and you can usually do that with Edgewood as well, if you are interested in any of those brands. Antares also swapped parts for me, I needed a cob but with horse cheeks. Try Farmhouse Tack, they are so helpful I am sure they can help with an Edgewood or other brands.

If you don't mind inexpensive and some difficulty getting in touch with them, Bartville Harness Company, which does not have a website because they are Amish, will build anything you like. They do have a catalog which you can order, and they answer their telephone for fifteen minutes a day in the morning. They make Nunn-Finer bridles and you can see their work on the Bit of Britain website as American made tack.

If you search for Bartville, the telephone number and address will come up. If you search COTH in the Hunting Forum or the eventing forum, I know their information has been posted many times in the past.

Your local tack store can often order bridle parts from their suppliers.

Aramis no longer sells parts. We sell Edgewood bridle parts and we'll even oil it before shipping for no extra charge!

That's so sad b/c unfortunately it means I've purchased my last Aramas bridle since my mare needs an overside browband and a cob cavesson! Shucks!

I just had a look at their facebook page. Moving troubles, phone troubles, inventory troubles, website troubles, server troubles. Sounds kind of funky. But I'm a pretty suspicious person by nature.

you can find some Edgewood parts around but I'm been told that they are no longer going to be selling parts.. which was handy when I bought my pony browband for $40 on clearance
