Default Metal of bits on double, is same still required?

I was in a lesson and using my double bridle. My mare does fine in the stainless curb I bought from Dover, but when it came to finding a bradoon I could only find the mouthpiece she likes in her snaffle in a Stubben and it is the one with some alloy that makes it more copper colored.

The instructor said my bits would disqualify me, because of the different metals, but I have shown in this bridle and had bit checks and not been DQd.

I reviewed the rule, and I think the two metal prohibition is gone, but I would love it if Janet or others would weigh in.

you can't really see it in pictures,

My pocketbook is relieved! Weymouth bits are expensive!

I show with two different metals and at FEI I am checked every time I come out of the ring.
