    Default Equioxx price reduction?

I just got an email from USEF/Merial about this, total woollyfluff of course. Anyone know what a ballpark on the "new" price will be?

If they had priced it at $4/tube from the beginning, I imagine they would have driven fewer horse people to use Previcox. $4/day is still expensive for long term use, but a hell of a lot better than what it was...

Too late now, Merial! We know all about Previcox.

I just ordered a bottle of 60, 227mg tablets from Valley Vet for $149.95. I have to feed a 1/2 tablet a day due to horse's size. What size are you purchasing for $90? I'd like the cheapest option available if I can.

I also paid $149.95 from Valley Vet. I bought from them a few years ago after finding they were the cheapest, so I didn't shop around this time.

I suspect the $55 is for the 57 mg pills. One of my barn buddies paid about that much to our vet for what basically is a trial course.

I was getting the 57 mg tablet from my vet for the $94 + tax.. which was about $104. Now they sell the 227 mg quartered by the vet clinic for $55+tax... same 60 day supply.
I am in Canada and can only get it from the vet.
