An interesting video from April Battles, explaining how their bodies work, how they compensate for injuries, tightness, soreness and misdiagnosed issues. Get comfy....it's over an hour long, but worth it I think.
Bump. Out of all the people who read the post, has anyone checked out the video? What did you think? I watched it twice.
I've started doing yoga stretches on my 28 yr. old horse and he's really getting into it now (combined with some Masterson Method stuff too). I'm willing to do it daily, if I can, for the 30 days recommended and see what happens at the end of that time.
I was just watching this the other week. Some of the things she talks about I think are a little bit left-field, but I really enjoyed her discussion about the anatomy and the pictorial explanations about why X going wrong here creates Y and Z going wrong elsewhere in the body. (By watching, I also learned what I was doing wrong when having my horse do his belly lifts!)
