Default Registering / getting mare approve

I have a mare that does not have registration papers however in her passport it lists selle français as breeding I have tried contacting both past owners to try and get more information and have come up empty I also have a Spanish Identification book as well I am trying to figure out my options if it would be possible to get the mare approved or registerd of North American warm-blooded association. Like how they will take TB halfs. The mare is bred to a BWP stallion.

I'm afraid I don't have any information for you, but my first reaction when I read your post yesterday was, "what are you trying to achieve?" If you are breeding for yourself, I wish you the very best of luck in getting what you want. If you are breeding to sell and think some sort of registration will help you market the foal, then you probably should've worked this out ahead of time.

Best of luck in any case. Enjoy the baby!

Did you try to contact the Selle Francais registry?

Does the passport list her as SF, or just show SF breeding in her lineage? And what's the Spanish Identification book for?

Yes I am breeding for myself and yes even thought I don't have papers on the mare she is well worth breeding and possesses all the quality I would breed for. And has an extensive show career. And the stallion is a top show jumper. I was just wondering about the possiblity of tracking down the mares info or if not just see if there is a registration possibility.

I would say that without the parentage on being listed on the Selle Francais, You will be out of luck. It easy for any seller to say this is a holsteiner or selle francais or oldenburg, but without out documentation to back it up.... Hard to go backwards. If the parents are listed you may have the option of DNA' her, but that is not how I understand your post... good luck!
