MD-11yo Bay 16.1 TB Gelding- looking for a slower paced home
I have a 3' hunter that has been there done that, very easy and capable, just requires too much maintenance to stay at that level. Better suited for a slower paced pleasure home. He is stunning (sold for >200k as at 2yo in training) Only ran a handful of times and has been with me since his 3yo year.
We have had great success, and now he's winding down from that. He's been on turnout and barefoot for 4 months. His feet were primarily the main issue, as no one else has been able to diagnose him with any other ailments. He will just be a hare off at times. To stay in the show ring we were injecting the coffin joints which was keeping him sound (occurring every 6 months). The last injection was March 2013 and this year we decided not to show him and try and find him a good spot to land.
He is sweet natured, could be a husband horse, limited adult mount, shown in hand, whatever that would be an easier/pleasurable job.
We are currently using him as a babysitter for some of our yearling colts, but he is bored and would like something better to do. Please PM if you are interested and I can forward pictures or set up a time for you to see him.
