That is awesome. What a fantastic way to dump a horse!

Nothing on the website suggests that *they* are going to want some kind of PPE in order to make sure that they can sell your horse on day 31.

Not true-- sidebar on the submission page says if you're ok with cash in 7+ days rather than immediate, they would use the time to do "inspections," including vet. They also offer "rehoming services."

Sounds like an interesting idea to me, especially for someone who had a out-of-work, but sound and broke pasture puff they needed to sell. Sometimes you do have to sell NOW. I can't see the whole site, but nothing here screams "Kill Buyer." And if they put 30 ro 60 days into a horse and resell it for more, so what?

It looks the owner has a background in auctions and sales. How many people bought a nice horse, for a reasonable price at PAS sales?

This "group" is local to us here. I've met them at shows and they seem nice enough, but continue to insist that they are NOT horse traders. I'm curious to hear what they call themselves...

I had a friend who wanted to unload a horse of hers that was a 'troubled' horse and she had contacted them about trading him in (basically) for something else that they had. The deal never went through (she gave him away to someone) but they seemed nice and educated.

They do have some nice horses there. But are most certainly not kill buyers. Now where they'll rehome the unsavory types to is beyond me.

It does say on the Pawn page that they will keep unsellable horses...

Take to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Vegas. Rick Harrson will give you two thousand. His old man $500 and Chumley will want to ride it
