When my gelding was at his worst for RDC/hind gut ulcers he was getting 1/4 cup of psyllium per day. He was on that dosage for a few months. He is now doing much better tummy wise and I have just been giving him a few tablespoons per day as I have read that psyllium also helps with insulin resistant horses (my guy is not confirmed IR but he does seem to have some sugar issues) and horses prone to laminitis due to metobolic issues.

Does anyone know what a good dosage would be for long-term use?

Thanks!!
