Default Cross post, Pedigree information please

posted this on the racing forum but wanted to get another set of eyes

so my cousin went out and bought herself an OTTB mare and wanted to try to find some information on her pedigree and I was hoping that you all could help me out

    mare is Pamphlet
    sire is Notebook
    dam is Nufuth

any information is great, I know nothing, and my cousin is curious if these are good racing lines or sport horse lines, I think she is hoping to do hunters with the mare

You'll get more responses if you post the link to the pedigree.

There is nothing not to like in that pedigree from a sport horse standpoint. Even tail female goes to Wac, who happens to have been Lear Fan's dam. On Your Guard and her daughters seem to have been a dead branch for speed, but the Belthazar family seems to have passed on the jump fairly reliably. Lear Fan (by Roberto, so jump there as well) was one of the better chasing sires. Belthazar was a daughter of War Admiral, and different one of her daughters was the dam of Alysheba. One supposes that might have the impetus behind the breeding to Alydar for Honor Guard. Vaguely Noble is a very lovely line for sport horses.

Everything about Notebook's pedigree is exemplary, and he's one of the sires who is much liked by event people.

Just an observation: If dam is Pamphlet, and sire is Notebook, then the get SHOULD Be named something like Tablet. Heh.
