I have the DaBrim, regular size. Love it for trail riding in the SoCal heat. I really like the portable shade and neck coverage it provides. Ridden in Santa Ana winds with it and it has never budged from my helmet. I don't think there has been a time i have been out on trail that I haven't been stopped and asked where I got mine.
Just today, I was driving on PCH in Huntington Beach and saw some folks on the beach bike paths with DaBrims on their bike helmets.
I like the equivisor. http://www.smartpakequine.com/equivisor-5446p.aspx
I adjust the velcroed stap with the visor sitting a tad higher on the helmet than it should sit, then push it down into place. This makes it very tight and I don't have trouble with it staying on at all.
Well thanks for this information, expecially on the Da Brim models! Looks like what I have been trying to invent for myself, already made. I can definitely see myself purchasing one of these to shade my eyes.
Thanks for advice, all. I think I am going to go with the endurance version of Da Brim. It has all the features I want (360 degree, larger brim, etc). I also like that the back curves down. which may help shade my neck. Honestly, it looks pretty decent, too.
