She also took in a very wild feral kitten a couple of years ago that was so wild she had to reach into the crate with metal barbeque tongs to pet him. She tamed him this way in just a couple of days and named him "Tong" I can't seem to find that thread though.

CAASB told me she posted here on COTH this morning. Thank you to everyone who is keeping us in your thoughts and prayers and sending jingles. Right now our only hope lies in a miracle for him and I do believe in miracles. Seeing him on life support is something I never imagined and life is pretty terrible right now. The little bit of hope I have is the only thing keeping me going. As of this morning, his nurse says there is no change and actually this is a good thing because when I left last night, his vitals were very good. His heart seems more stable although as we have discovered, that can change all too quickly. Last Sunday we started with a heart attack that needed a fairly routine surgery and within less than week, things escalated to life support. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how it came to this.
