Default Is it just me, or does this girl need help?

    http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/grd/3830404030.html

Is it just me, or does she look too skinny for a 4 year old?

Such a nice looking girl, and beautiful face. Wish I could buy her. Anyone want to give her a nice home and fatten her up? I will volunteer as a groom.

She is a little ribby, but not too bad. She does look sweet, doesn't she? I am partial to a nice bay!

I hope she lands in a great home.

Little ribby but not that bad. I do find it interesting that she needs more work so needs to go because they don't have time with work but will trade her for stud fee for other mare. No time for this one but we do have time for a baby I guess. Gesh

    I wouldn't anthropomorphize too much

She definitely looks like she needs some care, and that description made me want to repeatedly knock my skull against a brick wall, but here's hoping she ends up someplace great!

I spit out my drink at the "Spanish barb" part. And of course the owner wants to breed her other mare

She's really cute, but definitely ribby. Sounds like she could use an upgrade :-)

I wouldn't be so quick to say she isn't Spanish Barb or at least half. Yeah, she is thin and she does look nervous ... which s understandable in her situation. She looks smart and if her conformation is any good she might be really nice.

sometimes I have to wonder of those ads are for real. It's hard to imagine someone bungling up the ad that badly.

Really? She doesn't look like a Spanish Barb to me. And pretty small, too

She looks in the one shot like she's shedding out, so coming out of winter and thin from no/bad pasture and not enough hay (maybe the other mare is bossy/food guards and the owner doesn't separate them?) I'd be wondering more what the scruff on her legs is--dirt or something like rain rot? Pretty head, though.

The spelling makes my eyes hurt.

She looks like she would shape up really cute with some more groceries and care. I hope someone super finds this little gem in the making.

That's what I was thinking! Does anyone know of a Washington specific horse forum that I could post her on?

Bit ribby, looks worse in some pictures than others doesn't she. Must say though, my three yr old has ribby stages and it's not through lack of food or worming believe me, lol, just growing and ungainly looking.

Just did a currency conversion and wow she is cheap, is that what horses like her at her stage of training normally go for or is that super cheap there too?
