    Default dog diagnosed with Anaplasmosis

She isn't symptomatic. We caught it on her yearly lyme/heartworm test. She's on Doxy twice a day for 30 days. After some reading, I'm wondering if I should do a CBC, although the vet didn't recommend it or recommend any further tests. Good for nothing ticks!!!

Anyone have experience with this - should I do further testing??? Blood disorders scare me.

My horse had it. We did a 5-7 day (can't remember which) course of oxytet and he was fine almost immediately.
