Well, my heart dog's biopsy came back and she has osteocarcoma She will be going over to Vet School Thurs. Has anyone tried the Chinese herb Artemisinin? Lot of hype about it on the web. Grasping at straws with both hands I guess. Thanks for any info shared.

Lots of information available out there on current treatments.
Chinese herbs wont hurt, so worth a try. If you arent opting for surgery, radiation or chemotherapy I would ensure you have your dog on an appropriate pain regime.
Ive known some "cured" with surgery/chemo, and others do very poorly with it. I woud suggest if you have any questions regarding treatments, palliative or aggressive, to talk to the oncologist/internist at the vet school. They will be able to answer any questions you may have, and work within your wishes/comfort zone.
Thanks Squish. She is on Tramadol, Rimadyl and Love. This is my old girl I posted about before.
She is not a good candidate for amputation due to artheritis in other limbs. If the price is in our budget we will try the pallitive radiation.
Hoping for the best.
