ElementFarm, please explain the bottle of Oxyclean for the tails. I have both the spray Oxyclean, and a grey horse with a stained tail. Thanks!

I bought from Costco "Chocolate Shop" wine.

Red with choco in it. It is GOOD! The choco taste is really good. It does not taste like Yooooo Hoooooo, nor Choco Vine (which is very good in the morning out of the fridge from the bottle, and in your coffee if you must)

So WINE for the new horse mommie.

I too am interested in this.

Has anyone ever used the tail bucket thing that Emirae posted?

I've used the Oxyclean on the tails before. Works well, but it is HARSH to their tails. I usually wash well, then spray on, let it sit for awhile (just like if you were treating a stain on clothes), then rinse off. Not something I like to do all the time, but it's good if you've gotta get a tail really white in short order.

Best medicine for a white tail is just to wash it regularly.

I thank the deity of your choice daily that my mostly-white pinto at least has a black TAIL! Oxy-clean is really irritating to their skin--he can't tolerate it.

Yeah, exactly. And why I only used it on tails (and very, very rarely on green spots when desperate times called for desperate measures). I don't like it and I find just a good amount of washing usually does a sufficient job...and liberal sprinkle of baby powder can get the last dingy bit out if it isn't glaring.
