    Default James A. Rice

    Yesterday the horse world lost a very special person. Jim Rice, well known horseman, trainer, rider and show manager passed away after a lengthy illness. Those of us who knew him will miss him in so many ways. His passing leaves a void that will be hard to fill.

    The wake will be held at the Claude R. Boyd/Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY.
    Hours are Tuesday 5/21 from 7-9PM, amd Wed. 5/22 from 2-4:30PM and 7-9PM.

    He will be sorely missed. I hope he is free of pain and with his beautiful Roxanne.

    It is a great loss to the horse show community. My condolences to his loved ones.

    Jimmy was the first USET Gold Medal Winner.
