    Default Crazy Longshot

I am interested in a mare, Vice Dancer, who was last trained by John Michael Johnson. I did an online search, and did not come up with anything other than Mr. Johnson was her last trainer - but no real contact info for him. Any thoughts?

If this is Vice Dancer (1983) she last raced in BAY MEADOWS - January 15, 1992 - Race 4 for Jim Johnson trainer.

If you are looking for a younger mare (2010), this one just started racing (has run 3 races). Last race was Indiana Downs 5/15/2013 8 Maiden Special Weight

In the racing chart, it shows her trainer is Philip Sims and racing for (owner) Sierra Farms:

    Good luck!

Thank you! It is the older mare I was curious about, we have a mare out of her we adore and I was curious as to where she was now.

Though I am curious, and derailing my own thread, how does the Jockey Club allow horses to have the same name? Both go back to Vice Regent, our mare closer than the young mare though. It does seem as though it could cause confusion though.

Names of horses over ten years old may be eligible for use if they are not excluded under Rule 6(F) and have not been used during the preceding five years either for breeding or racing.

Morgan Junkie - you might get some more bites if you edit the title of your thread -- something highlighting you are looking for leads on Trainer Jim Johnson in Bay Area / Vice Dancer mare (1992)

Best wishes! A great mare is a great mare.
