Happy mouth and H sprenger seem to have plastic mouth bits in 5.5 -- but in white. Does the bit have to be colored? And why?

    Curious.

Be wary of any bit that might be seen as "blood-colored"! That was the first thing that popped into my mind when you asked about "colored" bits.

Try Flexi-bit. They're made in the UK and come in assorted colors (pink, blue, aqua) and assorted snaffle styles. They sell in 5 1/4" and 5 3/4". I have no idea who sells them, though. I also think they're plastic-covered steel. Not sure if that's what you'd want.

Don't forget matching stirrups and spurs. Nice assortment of colors. They have rhinestone-encrusted snaffles, too. Sadly, no green, carolprudm.

    And reins. Diamante reins?

Need to use the zoom for this pic . They do look much better in reality, but I have big strapping Irish Draughts so can't unleash the inner Barbie

OK, we've got the blingey ear bonnet, crystal browband, rhinestone encrusted bit rings, colored bit, diamante reins, matching (or contrasting) saddle pad, stirrups, and polos, colored whip with silver handle. What about the helmet?
