Never in my life time could I imagine a day when I thought a gator could look cute... but this one does. All curled up comfily on a blanket.

Do a search for "There's a Gator in My Pond" in Around the Farm. That will give you the story of Wally Gator.

OMG Mike, where do you find this stuff?!! Talk about freaky. Talk about scary... although he does look surprisingly cute on that blanket.

Too far North for 2Jakes to have helped. But my first thought was, better check where in FL, she might have been on the case.

He/she is so camoflaged! Yikes! Just thinking about all the times I've reached for things in my barn in darkness just KNOWING exactly where I had left them.

    Yikes! How incredibly unexpected.

Good thing it wasn't dark when they found him..

I remember reading an article back in the 80's about an elderly farm couple in southern Missouri who found a BABOON in their barn.

I can only imagine how surreal that experience must have been. "Umm , honey, there's a baboon in the barn"...

They were able to set a cage trap for it and caught it. The nearest zoo was 500 miles from them, and was not missing a baboon. They never found out where it came from..

No, he's camouflaging himself to improve chances for lunch - I think ... cold-blooded villain ...

I don't know...gators carry their toplines very evenly and have a nice steady, slow gait. It IS an AQHA show. Heck, he might place in either Western Pleasure or H/J. He won't get first because they carry their tails too high.

Oh, a good vet can fix that tail.

I don't think many stewards will be brave enough to "check tails" on him.
