Default SF Bay Area peeps, anyone know these trainers?

A friend of mine just bought her daughter a schoolmaster. Her daughter is currently riding level 1 and the horse is trained to I-1.

She is looking for a new trainer and sent me some names, but it's no one I have heard up and it's not the usual names I see mentioned on COTH.

If anyone knows of these trainers, please let me know. Feel free to PM me.

    Nadine Pestana

    Jennifer Roth

    Tracy Hillyer and Liz Hendricks

    Thank you!

All well known, very different approaches and locations.

Not sure how to even compare them

Agree - not in the Bay Area, but Nor Cal. All are reputable, all have FEI show results and students w/ show results. One is a judge. But very different people, facilities, locations! My advice would be go watch each one teach, take a few lessons, and then make a decision.

    Default North bay

Well in the north bay, there is Jane Weatherwax, LILO Fore, and Kristen Aggers. And south bay, also Tracey Lertand Pam Nelson. All different, best to watch each and make your own decisions.

Agreed - the east bay has a number of other well known dressage trainers.

Where she lives is a huge issue as well as what her goals are. I should have added Tracey Lert (trains in Watsonville, clinics weekly in saratoga and gilroy, monthly in oakland and pleasanton) and Pam Nelson in Hollister.

On the Penninsula - Rachel Williamson is at Stanford and Chris Rivlin.

The are all completely different - depends on what she is looking for.

I should have been more clear. Her goal is to qualify for young riders next year. Ideally she would like to train with someone who has like minded riders in their barn.

They live in Monte Sereno, so commuting to the North Bay is out, unfortunately.

Thanks for the comments and PMs!

I know Jen personally and have since we were in the JRs together. Someone mentioned Tracy Lert in CA. I believe Sabine Rijssenbeek is also in California now -- possibly San Diego.
