He's not my cup of tea, but New Vocations does a wonderful job marketing and presenting their horses. I believe their presentation of horses helps people to see OTTBs as valuable prospects rather than the perception many have of them as "someone else's trash" so I really applaud their work! I similarly love CANTER retraining programs, LOPE in Tx, etc.
My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be.

What I don't understand, is he doesn't look terribly sound in the video....

Hoping it was just due to the small cut he had?

OH my, I would buy him today, if I hadn't said I would never buy any more horses. I did not watch the Video. He is stunning, My color My breed My size!
~Drool~ Okay I take it back, He looks to be stabbing the ground with his inside hind. Moving very short, I know race horses have an odd way up going at the trot sometimes, and he was last raced in MArch, but that looks awful and she can't really post to it well. Anyone?

He looks off in the hind end if you ask me. Might be something minor.. but I agree, does not look sound.

I thought I was just seeing things, but deff off. What a hunky boogie man though! I do love me some red head OTTB...but one is more than enough for me.

I have never personally dealt with New Vocations, but I have been consistently impressed with how they present their horses (although the guy in the video DOES look very off behind). Additionally, their website and FB pages are professional and updated regularly and their adoption criteria and fees are very reasonable. They seem like a great organization and I recommend them frequently.

Well, if you like good looking chestnut boys, this is the New Vocations guy that I am currently drooling over. http://www.horseadoption.com/horseprofiles/mingunade/ He makes my heart beat faster, and I'm a mare person.

I know poor Strasbourg was trained (at least part of his career) by Steve ASSmussen. Lucky to get out of there in one piece

A PPE would be in order, but he sure is cute!

I like him a lot, the best of the bunch mover wise, He will really improve nicely with some dressage work. He already wants to be soft and her hands are not that quiet! Only 500 dollars? are all these that little?

Me too, Louise. A friend and I were just chatting about him today, actually. He is lovely.

I like Mingunade and Pleasant Spring. French Blue and Strasbourg are quite downhill.

Gorgeous horse (Strasbourg). With correct muscling and training, he'll be stunning. I wonder what's going on with his right hind. Hock problem? I hope it's nothing serious and that his new owner will take good care of him.

My friend called about French Blue, but was told that he has tendon issues, and rears up.
