We've never bred to him, but like his video! He has several of the WB lines we like for eventing. I think, depending on the mare, he would be a very nice cross for eventing bred to a smaller mare who was TB or predominantly TB. Good luck!!!
A friend bred a race-bred AQHA mare to him. I never saw the mare but, based on another related horse that I did see, I would say the foal was a definite improvement as a sport horse. She was good-minded, tolerant, and pleasant to work around. She grew relatively quickly (as in, we were afraid she'd be too big for her petite owner) but then leveled out. The owner took her home when she was 3-4 as her daughter was getting married and she wanted to save some money so I don't know how she came out once older.
