Wow, some really good names choices!

    Mine are:
    Fantastique
    Gold Vermeil
    Sun Flair
    Sunspot
    Sucre Limon or Limon Sucre

And just because I've always wanted a palomino pony so I could give it this name: Vanilla Snow.

    He's absolutely darling!

Unfortunately it goes with the Mardi Gras theme (some traditions consider Mardi Gras the entire period between Epiphany and Ash Wednesday), so it's probably out, but I'd be tempted to go with Clanfair Epiphany.

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions!! I'm tentatively leaning towards Clanfair Prince Charming at the moment -- you know, the blond, handsome prince! -- but we'll give it a few days and see if it sticks!

my first thought looking at him is Phantom of the Opera...

And I dont mean to make fun of anyone's suggestions, but "Sugar Plum" for a stallion prospect??? I think he'd have an identity problem.

    What a cutie he is!!!!!

He needs a very special name. At this time I consider him a stallion prospect.

His sire is *Wedderlie Mardi Gras, his dam is *Holyoake Fantasia. I don't think I am interested in a "Mardi Gras" themed name, but that is pretty much the only limitation. He will be named with our "Clanfair" prefix.

    Suggestions most welcome!!
Arghh! Just realized that I misread your post and thought you wanted a Mardi Gras theme when I responded the first time. Sorry about that. Love Masqerade (sp?) that someone suggested, or Masterpiece. He certainly is one fancy, flashy colt!
