    Default Rumford Gardener Hose

Is this one of the hoses that is not suitable for drinking water?

It sounds like the answer to a maiden's prayer.

Has anyone bought or seen one?

There has been some discussion about the pocket hose which looks to be the same thing.

General consensus, I believe, is that it's just not at all durable enough for the barn environment. You might be able to turn up those posts if you search for "pocket hose" instead of "rumford hose."

I read that thread, which is why I was asking. My barn usage would be short term but for water buckets only.

If that hose was safe for drinking water it would definitely say so right up front, as that's a MAJOR selling point for hoses.
