Don't depend on you taking pictures only.
Ask your trainer to do so also, so you have different angles and maybe some with you in there also.

Just in case, one camera may just not take the right pictures or fail.

I expect you have several hundred COTH posters waiting excitedly with you.

This is such a cool thread!

BTW, that 30 year old CL horse someone put on an earlier page...he looks like a darker version of my heart horse. She lived to be 34. Anyone in a good spot to retire him? He has a lovely face.

Can't wait to see pictures of Parker!

Many hugs and carrots for the lucky Parker from Maryland!

And Thanks to King, who clearly had a hoof in this for you and his girl.

How considerate of Parker to arrive at a civilized hour .. and not in the middle of the night.

Hope the "boys" give him a friendly greeting. Your crew seems to be good at accepting new faces into the herd.

I'm in the middle of a busy day but I just had to check in to see if he had arrived yet. I may be living vicariously through King's Ransom.

He made it! I will link to photos as soon as I get them off my camera and online.

Honestly, if anything, he is so much more than I ever expected. From the moment I saw his little face in the trailer window -- to be very trite, he had me at hello! He is calm, well-mannered, self-confident, sweet and gorgeous. My grand-daughter is going to flip! He's just everything you could ever want in a pony, and then some!

Okay, here are the shots I got with my cell phone, as they are the easiest to upload. I have some better ones on the camera, but I have to find cords, etc. to get them online.

Precious cargo arrives on the farm: https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...93311430_n.jpg

This is the exact moment when I fell in love. I will never forget it, as long as I live, seeing his little face in that window -- it's all right there in his eye: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...87822826_n.jpg

Temporarily in the roundpen with my trainer (grass is too much in there for him): https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...35204265_n.jpg

Welcome H♥me, Parker!!! Welcome H♥me to all the love & TLC a pony could wish for. May you have a reason to nicker every day of your long, happy, healthy life. Good times for you always.

KR, I am so delighted that Parker arrived safely. He was well worth the wait, torturous as that is for you and his fans.

How were the boys when they noticed the new arrival? EDIT - nvrmd - Question was already answered as I was posting.

    Awesome!

Thank you so much for letting us be part of your new horse.

That video gives me ideas of a self exercising way for horses, put one in a round pen and let the others run around.

Parker looks to be very sensible and I don't know he is all pony, he moves and has a head like a good old horse, more than a pony.

Wonderful day for you, thank you for the pictures.

P.S. So jealous that you have green stuff there.

Well, that is One Lucky Pony, but I have a strong suspicion that it goes both ways. There is wisdom in that eye.

Be sure to re-charge the camera before granddaughter visits!

    Love him, KR!
(And the other boys look wonderful, too!)

    I can't wait for Parker-tales!

(And thank you so much for letting us share the happy - I got some bad news from a friend first thing this morning, so this thread has brought some pretty significant sunshine to a day that would have been pretty gloomy without your wonderful news.)

Thank you everyone for sharing my joy. Bdj, I am sorry for your sad news and glad that we could share a little bit of happy.

We have needed a happy day like this around here for quite a while. Our last big event was a sad goodbye ... I have to say that I like the hello's much better!
