Default Describe Your Relationship With Your Horse Using A Movie Title

Exactly what the title says! My Virtual Event Coach posted it on Facebook and has gotten some pretty entertaining responses so far. I'm sure COTH can have fun with this one

I don't currently have a horse, but I'll try to think of one for my relationship with my former guy so I can play along.

I don't know, but I would say Phoenix is most like Bill Murray.

The pony, Gus, is probably most akin to White Fang, but we aren't at the cabin scene next to the fire yet.

I'd love to say that my Morgan and I are like some cheesy horse movie, but it's really more like a good cowboy movie where the cowboy spends lots of time being nice to his horse.

    The Borrowers.

(Because i'm always borrowing other people's ponies to ride until I get my own!)

"A River Runs Through It" (gelding will not cross this little footbridge on the property...it's pretty much the only thing, ever, that he's refused to do for me.)

"A Fantastic Fear of Everything" (unaptly named "Warrior," my Jumper. I think I must have misheard his name, originally...it was probably "Worrier.")

"Crazy, Stupid, Love" (Clydesdale mare I bought, age 12 and unbroke with a history of bolting, when I had about 6 months of riding/horse experience, total. She's still my favorite, and pretty much only has to step over a cross rail for me to be thrilled with her performance as a Jumper and kiss her nose and give her cookies.)

"8 Seconds" (4 year old filly who probably needs another year before she's totally willing to try out this "riding"...)

    Skyfall

Because I like working out things from my childhood that are slightly dangerous, just like James Bond.

I'd like to say "Unbreakable," but sadly, that would be a lie.

Sometimes I end up Dazed and Confused at the end of a ride, sometimes I receive An Education. Sometimes my mare acts like a Rebel Without a Cause... It hard to be mad for long because she's so Precious and Pretty in Pink.
