Default Ideas on where to buy a fake tail fast?

So, after an unfortunate tail accident, I am in need of a tail for next weekend. It appears most of the more affordable websites don't stock the tail, but take several days to make them . Does anybody know of a place that stocks affordable tails and can ship second day? The only good news is that at least my boy is a bay, so the easiest color to match!

Thanks for any ideas! I did try searching Craigslist through adhuntr and found a nice palomino tail! eBay didn't have much.

http://www.taillady.net/forsale.html Bear in mind you didn't say anything about what exactly affordable means to you.

How about this place? http://www.wcircle.com/inc/sdetail/23219 These are ASB tail switches so I am not sure if they can be attached well enough for hard use though.

Thanks for the links. $2,000 has an extra zero on my budget. But fortunately this horse is a hunter so only needs the tail to be about 3 1/2 feet rather than 6'+!

Consignment tails would be great though!! Thank you

She has a black one on consignment and also has new ones. I don't know if the new ones are made to order though.

You should be able to rent a tail from a professional braider. I had a friend do that for an entire show season (She was leasing the mare and didnt want to buy a gray tail knowing she wouldn't need it for a 2nd season).....

I don't necessarily think they are the nicest tails ever, but most Dover stores stock the basic colors.

A friend of mine gave me a tail for my grey horse when she sold her grey and got a bay. Having no need for a white tail, since the bay is going to be her long term horse, she kindly gave it to me! I offered to trade her some other equipment, or pay her, but she said no. Personally, I'd just ask around. I bet someone in your area has a black tail they can lend you for the day (or even sell you) so you have more time to order one.

You will like the trophy tail - I found it easy to use and even looked great on my horse at indoors! Good luck!
