Default Do Amerigo trees run small?

I've been searching for used Vega and I've come across an awful lot of narrow trees that claim to fit like mediums, and also a few medium-wides that claim to fit like mediums.

Do they run small? Or big? Not true to size?

    Thanks a bunch.

I have an Amerigo Vega dressage saddle (M), and it runs pretty true to size. It's a remarkably versatile saddle...it has fit reasonably well every horse I've ever put it on.

My last horse was a MW and it fit her just a little snug; it fits my new N pony a little wide but nothing a Mattes pad won't fix.

I believe the Vegas were redesigned a couple of years ago; mine is the older version.

I would email Robin Moore at World Equestrian Brands if you have questions. She's very nice and extremely knowledgeable.

I think they run pretty true. You can contact Ann Forrest at Equestrian Imports; she fits them and would be able to tell you for sure.

I have a Vega and an Amerigo in two different tree sizes. I'd say they're pretty true to size.

I had the Vega monoflap. The narrow tree was VERY narrow and the medium was true to size, if anything a bit wide. It didn't fit any TB I put it on and I was riding 8 horses a day in BNT's barn of 60+ horses. It's more suited to hefty WB types.

I have an Amerigo (not Vega - older) CC monoflap that is marked a M and fit a TINY bit narrow before being adjusted. Because these saddles can be adjusted to an extent, it's possible that if you have been trying used, they had been let in or out in the past. Don't have much experience with newer models, though.
