    Seen it done, more often with mules than with horses, but in my youth in east Texas it was not uncommon to see equines in the backs of pickups, typically with a wooden frame around the three sides of the bed.

    Not only did he have to jump up into that truck, but he had to avoid the dog that was standing there in the middle. Can I get that guy to come train my horse to walk into my trailer?
