Too funny! Now have a Dodge with the 5.9L engine. Had a 1996 with the 7.3L
Powerstroke.....great engine and truck. New ones, not so much.......

As a survivor of a Ford 6.0L diesel truck, may I copy that photo and put it on Facebook? Everyone I know remembers my 6.0L tale of woe!

Psssh, of course -- that's the 6.0L! You'd never find a 7.3L in the shop, BWAHAHAHHA!

My husband a diesel mechanic, says 2 out of 3 Ford powerstrokes are still on the road! The other ones managed to make it home!!

And yes, the 7.3s were great (early 1994, pre direct injection) in particular!

It really is too bad they made such a huuuuge flub with the 6.0/6.4L. I love, and I mean LOVE my truck so much, but half the time drive in fear because I know that if some idiot slams into me and ruins it, I cannot replace it. *shudder*

The other half of the time, I feel sorry for the other truck owners around me that they don't have one, bless their hearts! Heehehee. Although it sounds like suz could hook them up.

golly yes, I would love to find a horse owner home for my girl---she deserves to be treated like the fab truck she is!
I upgraded to a dually instead of the single rear wheel, as we're about to invest in an rv for long haul living in, so she's ready for her new home.

Now if someone could just get those boys together and combined the Cummins Diesel of Dodge with the Allison Transmission of GMC, we'd all be happy.

As it is, homie went with a Chevy 3500 for that reason.

That's the fantasy truck Chocomare! Get an old Ford, throw in an Allison tranny and a cummins and rock on down the road! A local tow truck guy has this truck, he bought it customized and it is awesome!
