Finally adding a link to a photo...he's grown 1 1/2" since I got him in March, yikes! No under saddle photos yet, but I'm going to try to take conformation pictures periodically so I will have a photo journal of him developing. This is the youngest horse I've owned, and the first warmblood, so it's a bit of a learning curve! In case you don't want to go find my earlier post, he's a just-turned-4 mostly Trakehner (with a little QH and TB thrown in there for fun). Daddy was ATA Prelim horse of the year, and several siblings have won area championships, placed well at AECs, etc.
We're cantering now in our lessons, since we have established some steering in the trot, LOL! We're still working on staying on the rail - I said today that now I know how jockeys feel when they're on a horse that suddenly drifts WAY wide! - but he's improving quickly!
