He represented Australia at the Lexington WEG, so he is entitled to wear a team coat. However, IIRC, the Australian team coat at WEG was green or blue, and PA had a fundraiser when he was chosen for them for a red team coat. So he's entitled to wear a team coat, and because he lives and competes in the US, he got a red one for WEG, which he apparently continues to use.

He rode for Australia at the WEG- therefore your post seems a bit...well, off to me. What is the issue really for you? Only americans can ride with Red Coats at an international event??

I really like Peter Atkins, he seems to have a great partnership with Henny ( I love the way he talks to him XC ) and he seems like a class act. he's entitled to it, he earned it, he can wear it. If it were me, I'd wear the damn thing to work and to bed at night.

AUS riders used to have red coats as team coats up until recently and some still wear them. I do not see the problem.....

I don't think that CoTH is a good place to bring up personal issues with a person. If you were a client, or had a horse in training with him, maybe if there were "issues" but personal ones? We all have them with people. Kind of like airing your divorce or other sour grapes on FB...

Not sure where or why you felt the need to post other than to rain on the parade after a very nice weekend for them.

    Default Yawnnnn

Guy rides good, nice horse. I thought whoever the girl with the light gray coat looked super. The red coats the US team wears are so thin they look cheap anyway.

    Who cares?

Kristen Schmolze. I agree, she looked stunning in the light grey coat and super white whites with her horse wearing a matching grey ear bonnet.

I agree! Grey is my favorite color, I thought she looked really awesome. My mom custom makes show coats for me... I think I may have her make me a grey one!

    Default grey/gray

I use grey for animal fur (horses, bunnies, cats) and gray for cloth.
