Default Carriage foes' electric cars backfire ;-) VIDEO UP!

    THANK YOU, NYCLASS!

That's right - we are thanking the PETA-funded group NYCLASS for contacting Fox 5 here in NYC and asking them to cover their pathetic ban horses/electric car scam!! It gave us one of the best little news segments for us I have seen in 30 years.

Gorgeous horses & carriages, excellent interviews with industry spokesmen as they stood beside their horses, and a sweet interview with a couple who were celebrating their 40th anniversary in a carriage because they had gotten engaged in one ♥

Oh, yeah - and Allie Feldman, paid operative of NYCLASS blabbering in front of a backdrop of a brick wall about "bringing NYC into the 21st century".

Interesting - Allie seems to have been instructed to tweak the propaganda: instead of using the phrase "electric cars", she used "horseless carriages."

Um, Allie - tell your superiors that in the "21st century", they are called "CARS", and you ain't fooling anyone!!

I think if you are going to call something a horseless carriage you have to dress all steampunk and at least pretend you don't know what a microphone is.

Wonderful! It was a pleasant surprise to see such a well done news blurb about the NYC carriage horses and their humans. I loved the couple! My husband and I went to NYC for our honeymoon carriage ride, and I want to BE that couple someday. We plan on celebrating our anniversaries with a NYC carriage ride for many years to come. Stephen looks wonderful on camera and gives great interviews. Christina is a brilliant horsewoman who wasn't given enough "air time" because she always has a lot to say. Loved the clips of the vibrant horses and their humans. The silly prototype really did look absolutely lonely and pathetic....I almost felt sorry for it there. LOL. You guys are amazing for your strength, determination and grace in the face of adversity. My heart is with you!

I couldn't hear the audio, too low even though everything on my end is turned all the way up, but I got the message. I'd love to ride in one some day. Also, the big grey, send 'im my way when he's done there. Loved him!!

    Outstanding!
Most people don't need a $35,000 horse. They need a $1,000 horse and $34,000 in lessons.

I keep thinking mine is going to outgrow the vampire thing - she sort of graduated(?) to werewolves. Go figure.

Steampunk meetup at the carriage line! (Though it's not cosplay for many people, steampunk can be a lifestyle choice.)

I'm so confused. . . she wants to bring NYC into the 21st century. . . in turn of the 20th century replica cars? Could it be more obvious that this isn't about horses at all for NYCLASS, but about money and politics?

Give Fox the lowdown on what's really behind banning the horses and carriages. They love nothing better than exposing political maneuvering and corruption that the MSM ignore or cover up. Politically correct, they ain't!
