Default horse registration question for show eligibility....

If the horse's name was spelled incorrectly for the Lifetime ID number etc, would it be considered a name change to get that corrected, or can there be a signed affidavit by a vet that confirms horse is the same, but incorrect name?

Previous trainer entered all of the information - even mis-spelled the owners name :/

I wouldn't think it would be considered a name change, but then, if USEF can charge for something, it will.

You might want to contact Ken Ball at USEF and ask him. His email address is kball@usef.org.
