Default Breastplates in the hunter ring?

Don't see them that often but we have a 17.1hh very high withered horse that you can't keep a saddle in place on him without one. He's going into the rated hunters. The only breastplate I own is an elastic/leather 3 point jumper breastplate. I have no idea if this is OK to use in the hunter ring? If not, can someone point me to what is suitable?

The Ovation one is a little finer and dressier than the one posted above.

Here is a picture of my horse in it.
You can see why I keep my tack conservative with the horse I show!

My daughter's horse showed in a beautiful one from Bobby's:

I heard a neigh. Oh, such a brisk and melodious neigh as that was! My very heart leaped with delight at the sound. --Nathaniel Hawthorne

ToTheNines- What a LOVELY Appy! Reminds me of one of the girls I used to ride! She was by Crocodile who was an enormous stallion and out of a TB mare.

I will second Dewey's suggestion on the Bobby's. I have a lot of Bobby's tack, and all of it is over 10 years old and still looks new. Even the black bridle that was my trail bridle that my mare repeatedly dunked in water troughs on hot days out! I love the breastplates too, I have two of them. (I have black for when I did dressage and then brown when I switched to jumpers).
