Default Is a 1 inch spur too big for hunter/equitation classes?

I just got the one inch Stubben Dynamic spurs with the roller thingy at the end, and they are amazing! I live them but I haven't used them to show yet, so I was just wondering, would a one inch spur be too big for hunter or equitation classes? Thank you!

Honestly, in H/J there is no rule governing the length of spur.

But the question gives me pause, and raises a host of others; as a judge, I would presume the answers might be revealed through observing your performance in the competition ring.

I showed for years while using one-inch spurs. Never hurt my (or horsie's) placings.
