Default Stallion thoughts for this mare?

I am still unsure what stallion I wish to breed my KWPN mare to. She is 16h, black (color wise a lot like Inspekteur whom she is by), imported from Holland. Her dam two generations back is Le Mexico & Rubenstien. If someone can tell me how to post a pic I will do so. I am interested in Metall as that would make a close blood match to Uthopia. I've also looked at Oliver KWPN, Lord Leatherdale, & Everdale. The mare is 18 years old, been open for a few years, but supposedly easily took for the three foals she did have. So Ive been pondering frozen vs fresh. My goal is a dressage foal with the ability to do Grand Prix, make you go "oooh & ahhh", and have the appeal to sell.
She is an older style KWPN, SOLID, short backed, lots of bone, sensitive, & very smart.

Again if you can tell me how to attach I photo that would probably help a lot. Thanks!

So she is Inspekteur x Le Mexico? Is her pedigree listed on all breed or horsetelex? May make it easier.

I regularly see a couple UB40 babies who definitely bring the oohs and aaaahs. Their dam is a very nice Contango baby but they are even nicer, I think. They were very highly ranked in the foal inspections in 2011 and 2012.

In his case, you want to consider the mare's temperament as well. The ISF page gives info on what type of crosses he works well on and I've heard they're super helpful for info. For some reason pedigree sites (and many others) aren't working well for me now and I don't have pedigrees memorized well enough to know if there are any too-close crosses there.

Edit: He was specifically chosen by the breeders to get more uphill movement and a more modern type, and the babies exhibit that and a more brave demeanor than their dam.
My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be.

How about Uphill? He is definately throwing the oohs and aahs and looks like would be a super match for this mare. We have his frozen here.

I really like Freestyle, and he fits the profile of what you're looking for. And, I'm biased in that I have a five and three year old by him that are super, super, super. He reall adds a fluidity and ooh ahh factor. People stop and watch my five year old at the show and ask me every time who the sire is. They are really, really talented, and most important, really rideable and super temperaments.

Another bonus is that he does fresh semen and it's really good quality and Jennifer is super to deal with, and he has some of the best bloodlines performance wise, and is cheaper than similar stallions. My vet is a repro specialist and REALLY appreciates dealing with the good quality semen and stallion owners.

I think a cross with Olivier could be really fun as you would preserve some of the old Gelders blood, as well. While he hasn't produced any Grand Prix horses yet (his oldest offspring will debut at PSG this year) he certainly produces ones with the talent for it. My six-year-old can already make piaffe, passage and pirouettes and he's never been pushed. It's just if I cluck in the walk he makes half-steps and if I bring him back and turn in the canter he does a pirouette. Very fun. Olivier was the same way- very talented for the heavy collected work. My feeling is if you want to have a foal that has Grand Prix potential you need to go with a stallion that has competed at that level. So many of these stallions don't compete Grand Prix because their gaits are so big they can't piaffe or pirouette.

    Best of luck!
