Thanks, I could not find this anywhere. The commentators said something about Parker being a 'little' horse and as I used to ride reiners, little means 14.2 to me!

The USEF Network site is down now for everybody, right? I can't get any page on the site to load.

Anyone else start watching early and hear our commentators talking, and not realizing they had hot mics? They said that they will immediately cut away if there's a fall. I hate that. They actually didn't with Becky, which was fine. We couldn't see her, but it was such a slow and rolling fall after the horse had his front legs down, it really didn't look too bad.

Then ther was the horse that got hung up on the fence and he was so calm and not really stuck that I wanted to watch him extricate himself. But nope, they cut away. That was irritating. They also cut away when the rider was on the horse and looking down just to check him after a refusal. What? There's nothing bad there. You aren't sensationalizing the fall.

I can't get it if it looks really bad and no one is getting up, but falling is part of watching x-country (it's just part of the sport--but hopefully not too often a part of it). And this is USEF Network streaming, not NBC (which means only real horse people are going to go to the effort to watch this, and we get what happens).

I just find it disappointing from the stand of wanting to see that it's most often not a big deal. And if it is a big deal, don't dwell on it, but don't pretend it doesn't happen and no one can watch. Think of skiing crashes. We see the whole thing and then see if they get back up or not. If not, we move away. Heck, in football it's the same thing. Watch the guy not moving for a bit. But in that sport they tend to run out with the cameras and do close ups of what's happening--so maybe that was a bad choice for my topic.

I think it's also kind of interesting to see the air vests go off.

Was working for me a few minutes ago, War Admiral. Just showing the Rolex logo, but you could still hear a hot mic.

Well yeah I know, but they are saying on TB & Twitter that they have clips from this a.m. to view... When I go to the site I get "Page Not Found". I know it's not my PC b/c I'm streaming a Saddlebred sale in another window.

I'm just happy I can watch this while sitting in my living room. Awesome. Hope the rain holds off for the afternoon riders.
