It looks like everyone has an exciting spring to look forward to! JER's Misty started the season for us, so hopefully our next two will go smoothly, as well. I acquired the two Donnybrook mares in foal, so these two youngsters are closely related to JMP's competition horse, Donnybrook Dudley Street Station.

One will be a full sibling (Ellis Island x Donnybrook Irish Lullaby), and one will be a half (Ellis Island x Donnybrook Molly McGuire). The mares' sire is Touch of the Blues

These two mares initiated the Donnybrook breeding program in New England. Their foals have generally been much more of a foxhunting athleticism; with more TB blood, we believe they will be top eventers and possibly top show hunters. As such, we are hoping to refine the matches and produce a slightly different phenotype.

Fingers crossed for two healthy, playful foals.

My friend Stephanie (small change on COTH) came out and took some pictures of my new baby (AFR x Trinity Creek).
He is a very brave and bold baby.

and yes, his halter is pink.

Not sure this one will be an eventer but it is very cute Just a few hours old here--filly. Dam is TB/Dutch (half sister of eventer Rock on Rose---same TB dam). Sire of this one is Royal Prince. Now to come up with a name---she is very vocal!

ETA: She should certainly move well and have a decent jump. Can't wait to see what she looks like when she finishes unfolding. I may need to repeat this cross
