Beezie last down for 9th, Mclain and Reed each have one as well for 8th and 13th.

The camera angle was front-on, so I couldn't see it that well, but I wonder why Beezie ran to the last oxer.. trying to get the time or was it all that was there? Shame about the rail but still ranked second.

It looks like the top 25 or 26 coming back on Sunday includes 7 Americans (Karl Cook and those ranked higher).

It's a shame things didn't work out for Rich Fellers, he and Flexible appear to be below the cut. A really good first WC for Dinan, Jayne and Cook though! (LOL assuming it is their first - I don't recall any of them entered before, but these days I'm lucky I remember who I am, so take that with a grain of salt)

I believe it's the first WC for Katie, Reed, and Karl Cook. I think Charlie's been before this year.

LOL I didn't count Reed, I figured after the Olympics, she has her international "chill" on.

Wasn't sure about Charlie Jayne though...

Double thanks. That was so much fun to watch. Only sad that Flexible was not doing the short course. What a collection of European pulchritude. The Guerdats! Kevin Staut! Lennox! Tamino! Robert Ridland definitely won Best Hair by a Chef d' Equipe. A category given short shrift by George H. Morris.

It cracks me up that the site that's posting the videos appears to be a place where you can bet online on the show results.

There are people who will bet on show results? Really?? They're not satisfied throwing their money away on show horses in the more traditional way?

I was wondering about that MHM...You don't strike me as the type, but I wasn't going to bring it up!

Oh, please. I'll barely buy a lottery ticket.

But if the betting gets the videos posted online, hey, more power to them!

First round and no clears... wow! Most of the top riders managed 4 though...

Dinin had 12 so Beezie is back on top! with McLain tied for 3rd (I think... WC scoring, you know... it could be that a squirrel from my backyard has moved up the ranks and is sitting in second...)

No clears in today's first round. Beezie's back on top. Kevin Staut, Steve Guerdat and McLain are within striking distance. Luciana Diniz fell back with 3 rails. One more round to go!

    Beezie with 4 - we have a j/o with 1/2 tied with 9 faults...

(damn, I seriously wish I was at this WC, it looks awesome!)
