Default Anyone in the Taylorsville/Hickory/Lenoir area of North Carolina?

Looking for a lesson barn (with good school horses) in the area for advanced beginner child. Have my eye on Foothills Equestrian Center and Sunset Ridge Equestrian Center. Please pm with information on either/both. Also, if you know of any other good choices anywhere in Northwestern NC, let me know!

I would highly recommend Foothills Equestrian Center. I used to ride there for a couple of years, and only had positive experiences. All of the instructors are very well educated, and really teach you how to work and ride with your horse using centered riding techniques. All of the lesson horses we're a joy to ride, and I always looked forward to lesson days. I still keep in contact with them. The only reason I stopped riding at Foothills is because I no longer live in the area.

Foothills hands down. Daughter still takes private lessons there when time allows. Very well run, knowledgeable instructors, great ponies-horses. Indoor and lighted outdoor ring. I live 3 miles from there, and 2 from Sunset. Let me know if I can help.
